Still Embracing Hope – The Journey Continues

“Courage is like love; it must have hope for nourishment.” – Napoleon Bonaparte

Still Embracing Hope
A year ago I wrote a piece called ‘Embracing Hope and Finding Faith,’ which marked the seventh anniversary of being a live kidney donor.  Today, of course, marks the eighth anniversary.   I hope you’ll take a few minutes to read that post about this journey as I revealed five (personal) lessons that might be useful for your everyday living.

Closing Thoughts
One of my closing comments from the original piece had to do with asking why when challenges arise in our lives and I still believe that it’s more empowering to ask what.

What can I do with this experience?
What did I learn from this experience?

There were lessons and while I stopped asking why, I’m still wondering what else I can do with this experience.  In the last piece I said there would be a Part 2 and I couldn’t get myself to write that last year and since my intention was to post it on March 26 and only that date I decided that I would do so this year.   I hope you’ll come back and check for it.  It will reveal more.

Until then…..”The rest is still unwritten….” from Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield
