This could also be part of your creative adventure as some of us use cooking as a creative outlet. I do. How about you?
Farm-to-table, vegetarian ideas, sauces and more – all healthy options are available when you go on a wellness retreat. Nutritionists and the culinary team work together to bring you the best of the best.
Here are some ideas.

Canyon Ranch Resorts
Dining at these resorts is an experience for all of your senses. The colors, the taste, the smell, and how you feel when you dine. You know you’re getting nourishment and you can even eat dessert – if you choose.
Cooking demos are offered daily – be sure to get the recipes – and then there are hands-on cooking classes if you’d like to pursue more – Cooking with Coffee and Tea or perhaps the Anti-inflammatory Hands-on class will pique your interest.

La Cocina Que Canta at
Rancho la Puerta, Tecate, Mexico
This is one of the best culinary schools at a wellness resort. Period.
Visiting chefs will bring their vibe to Rancho and teach you what they know in a lovely group environment and you’ll learn some skills and dine together, too. Be sure to walk through the amazing garden. Classes are 3.5 hours and offered a few times per week.

Lake Austin Spa Resort, Austin, TX
First of all, the dining at this Resort is beautiful – the Lakehouse setting is relaxing. And, they have a well-received culinary program with guest chefs and perhaps a celebrity chef from time to time.
The Chef’s Table (fee-based) is something else to consider as it’s interactive and educational with a three-course meal with wine pairings.
